Free Webinar: Thriving Under Pressure May 20
The Making Dialysis Safer Coalition is offering a free webinar on Wednesday, May 20 from 1 - 2 pm EDT on Thriving Under Pressure: Building Resilient Dialysis Systems and Teams.
Join us for a webinar to explore how to build resilient dialysis systems and teams. Understanding the structures, processes, and practices that influence patient safety during times of stress is essential to informing priorities and targeting interventions that strengthen resilience.
This one-hour session convenes frontline clinicians, workforce leaders, and public health partners to examine practical, evidence-informed strategies that enhance both system and worker resilience in the outpatient dialysis setting.
This webinar course is approved for 1.0 CNE or 1.0 CE from the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing Technology.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Define health care system resilience versus workforce resilience in reflection of how both relate to outpatient dialysis care settings.
- Identify how evidenced-informed resilience strategies impact patient safety.
- Identify how resiliency contributes to improved patient outcomes, specifically related to dialysis-related bloodstream infections.
